The offline mode means that all html-mails cannot load pictures from the web. This is useful for dealing with web-bugs. But if you do not want to switch between offline and online so often you can use the trustworthy addresses. All mails from a trustworthy address can load images from the web even if you are offline.

How to enable ssl:

If you want to use a secured connection (SSL) to your server you need two dlls from openssl.

libeay32.dll

ssleay32.dll

I use them from Win32OpenSSL-v0.9.8b.exe which installs them into the windows directory. Just copy these two files into the main directory of Koma-Mail and select the ssl-protocol. If you don’t use ssl you don’t need them.

How can I change the sound for a new message:

Just go in “Options”->”General options”->”Sounds/Notifications” and select a new file. If you use Koma-Mail on an usb-drive copy the sound-file into the main-directory of Koma-Mail and select it. Koma-Mail will check this directory even if the path differs.
